Systray button
The “Report a Bug” form opens from any backend screen without leaving the page. It collapses to its title bar while you look for the right spot or take a screenshot.
Kanban board
New, Confirmed, In Progress, Needs Info, Resolved, Rejected, Closed. Stages are configured by the manager.
Up to 3 screenshots per bug report
Attach up to three screenshots to each bug report: paste from the clipboard, drag & drop, file upload or screen capture (capture requires HTTPS). Mark up the image right on it: pencil, blur, circle, numbered markers.
Auto context
Page URL, active model and record, browser, OS, screen resolution, company. Jump to the record in one click.
Description template
Steps / expected / actual. Once a bug leaves “New”, the description is locked — the history lives in Chatter.
Resolutions
Fixed, Duplicate, Won't Fix, Cannot Reproduce, Not a Bug. A bug can't be closed without a resolution. Reopen with a reason in Chatter.
Duplicate search
Similar open bugs are shown while you type the title.
“Stuck” flag
A days-in-stage counter and a flag for bugs that have stalled.
Chatter
All discussion, notes and notifications live in Odoo's standard mail module.
Roles
QA Tester creates and manages bugs. Bug Report Manager also configures stages and tags and can delete.
Odoo.sh and self-hosted
Works on Odoo.sh and on your own server. Only the mail module, no external Python dependencies. Odoo Online — after publication in Odoo Apps.
